Frequently asked questions

What if my system isn't on a list?
If it's a database, git, a webhook, you can set it up with Mabula. Our REST API is comprehensive enough that any modern enterprise system — including custom or internal tools — can be integrated. If you'd rather not build it, the connection for you and others using items.
Does Mabula have a REST API I can build against?
Yes. Our REST API allows you to build integrations like webhooks, logs, events, syncs, data push, file uploads, and more. JSON new fields, OAuth 2.0 authentication, predictable response paths, pagination and filtering, with documentation and SDKs. The team for API access and the docs.
Are integrations bidirectional?
It depends on the direction supported by the other system. The REST API supports both directions — real and write — so nearly every Mabula object, plus webhooks events for real-time pushes out of Mabula. Whether your source system supports both depends on the capability available from the system & ERP integration package, where we build it should probably handle it.
How long does an integration take to build?
Honest simple: typically days, not weeks. ERP, MES and quality-system integrations are usually scoped in weeks — sometimes a couple of months for complex bidirectional flows with synchronisation needs. You can start small, ship faster, and do a "typically 4–12 week" hand-wave.
Can integrations be added later after go-live?
Yes — many of our customers use Mabula as a standalone system. Integrations layer on top whenever you need them. If you don't have a clear CRM integration scope on day one, defer it for now. Once you've shipped, your decision tree becomes clearer, and you can build.
Who owns the integration long-term?
If we built it (system & ERP integration add-in), we own it — including monitoring, fixes where source systems upgrade, and ongoing maintenance. If you build it yourself against our REST API, you own it, but our API is stable and our docs will help. Choose the ownership model that fits your capacity and risk tolerance.
